Trans-ungmennakvöld/Trans-youth night 14. febrúar, 2011 Þann 19 febrúar næstkomandi verður haldið svokallað trans-ungmennakvöld í regnbogasal Samtakanna 78 á laugarvegi 3, 4 hæð. Atburðurinn er unninn í samstarfi við Trans-Ísland, Q-félag hinsegin stúdenta, Samtökin 78, Ungliðahreyfingu samtakanna 78 (U78) og Samtökin 78 á Norðurlandi (S’78N). Atburðurinn er ætlaður ungu transfólki alveg upp í 30 ára aldur og eru allir þeir sem eru transgender, telja sig vera transgender, eru að stíga… fyrstu skrefin, eru ekki komin út enn sem trans, eru í hugleiðingum, eða bara öllum þeim sem telja sig á einhverju stigi flokkast sem transgender velkomið að mæta. Áætluð dagskrá byrjar kl. 18:00 og lýkur um 23:00 leytið. Markmiðið með fundinum er að ungt transfólk geti komið og kynnst hver öðru, hlustað á sögur annarra og fengið ráðgjöf frá reyndum einstaklingum eða bara einfaldlega til þess að spjalla. Mikilvægt er að hafa í huga að á fundinum ríkir 100% trúnaður og allt sem fer fram á honum er algjört trúnaðarmál. Myndartökur verða þar af leiðandi ekki leyfðar. Vonumst til að sjá sem flesta! ________________________________________________________________ On the upcoming 19th of february there will be a so-called trans-youth night in the rainbow room of Samtökin 78 on laugarvegur 3, fourth floor. The event will be done in conjunction with Trans-Iceland, the Queer Student Association, Samtökin 78 (The National Queer Organization), The Queer Youth of Reykjavík (QYR), The Queer Organization of Northern Iceland (S’78N). This event is intended for young transgendered individuals up to 30 years of age. It’s for everyone who are transgendered, think that they are transgendered, are taking their first steps towards transitioning, those who are questioning whether they might be transgendered or just everyone who think they’re transgendered in some sense or another. The planned schedule begins at 118:00 and ends around 23:00. The goal of this meeting is that young transgendered individuals can show up and get to know each other, listen to each other’s stories, get advice from people with more experience or just simply to chat with others. It’s important to remember that during this meeting there must be complete confidentiality and everything that happens must not go further than the meeting. Therefore photography is not allowed.
